The purpose of the World Karate Kobudo Jiu-Jitsu Organization (WKKJO) is to honor and propagate high-quality martial arts training through best teaching practices exemplified by the highest calibre teachers from a variety of martial arts devotions.

The programs and teaching methodologies offered through the WKKJO are continually refined each year to include input from the valuable experiences of all members of the organization (not simply a select few). Together we draw from our collective experiences and perceptions to collectively build the best programs available in order to advance martial arts for the 21st century.  With this mindset, the WKKJO is not a hierarchy of egos simply looking for rank; rather, the WKKJO represents a team and a family of like-minded martial artists, who come together to develop our martial arts devotions and teaching applications to their fullest potential. Strength comes through our unity and the collective input derived from our many years of individual experiences.

Anyone who has demonstrated a lifetime of commitment to martial arts teaching and training, including one or all of the arts of the WKKJO (Karate, Kobudo, Jiu Jitsu, and Self-Defense) and meets the criteria outlined for the rank and title of Kyoshi/ Master (7th and 8th Dan), or Hanshi/ Grand Master (9th and 10th Dan) will be considered as a candidate by the Executive Members of the WKKJO for these Honorary Ranks & Titles, and serve as a member and consultant of the Executive Council of the WKKJO.

Minimum Time requirements for Rank and Title for Udansha of the WKKJO (note, this does not necessarily represent a precise time-frame for expectation of advancement, but provides the minimum expected time-commitment for advancement through the Udansha rankings).
